Remember the home keys!

I remember in my middle school computer class, there came a time when the teacher put those dreaded orange skins on all the keyboards so we couldn’t see the keys. It was time to learn to type without looking at the keyboard, using the home keys, she told us. I hated it at first, almost never passing any of my typing tests. I’m grateful for it now.
And yeah, my nails really are that color!
I always typed my own way. I don’t have to look at the keyboard. I use almost the same thing as the home keys except I’m shifted a little bit to the left with my left hand. I guess I never learned properly. I still type over 90wpm, though, so it still works!

I remember when I began typing I dreaded the usage of home keys. I just typed my own way and ignored them. Around the time I was 13, it became natural to me to use the home keys. It clicked with my brain over night I suppose.

Hmm, I don’t use the home keys, but I don’t need to look at the keyboard to type and I am still pretty quick, but I hated using the home keys, still do.

I look down sometimes, but mostly I just look at the screen while writing. I don’t do home keys though.

Haha, such an interesting story :) In my early years I simply use the computer so much that nowadays I do not have to look down at the keyboard. Years of piano training might have helped with that also.

I think that was horrifying to everyone at first trying to type without looking. Now, it’s like I can have a eye to eye contact conversation with someone and type at the same time. I despise people that peck! OMG it urks my nerves lol I love bright colored nails, your are cute.
