I was inspired by the outpouring of love and support on this Facebook page for the author of this tragic post card, and I had to show my support as well.

I bought a ‘Bag O’ Buttons’ from Hobby Lobby and couldn’t wait to use them. I went with yellow and orange ones though none of them match. I think it adds a bit of flair.

I feel as though I’ve been cooped up in the house for forever and 12 years, and I haven’t done a ‘Photo Friday’ in just about as long. This is just a little photographic experiment having a dark subject in front of a bright background.

I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately. You know the kind where you don’t feel like doing anything, and only go to places like work or school because you know you absolutely have to, and that life would suck way more if you didn’t? Yeah, for the past week or so, thoughts like that are all that keep me going really. I hate slumps.

No matter, I figured I could at least drag myself out of the pity party long enough to do another Photo Friday.

A LG Neon, newly purchased when we renewed our contract a few days ago. I’m hoping to soon find time to play with it some.

Where I make the bookcase more prettyful

Ahem…I realize that you can’t see the details very well, but I love the flowers so much that I had to include them in the photo too. Oh, and upon coming up with a title for this week’s Photo Friday, I had to double check the interwebz to see if it’s really ‘bookcase’ or ‘book case’, because I’m just weird like that. Upon searching for ‘book case’, Google responded: Did you mean: bookcase? Yes Google. Apparently I did. And according to the always funny Urban Dictionary, ‘prettyful’ is a word, too. I’m sure English teachers everywhere die a little inside.
